Mumbai. On the occasion of Bihar Day, Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Sanjay Saraogi addressed a press conference at Bihar Foundation in BKC, Mumbai. On this occasion, social worker Niloptal Mrinal (Vice President - BJP Maharashtra North Indian Front) and Bihar Foundation President Kaiser Khalid (IPS) were also present with him.
The objective of this program is to fulfill the resolution of Bihar Government Nitish Kumar of Unnat Bihar, Vikasit Bihar. In this program, the Revenue Minister said that for the benefit of the migrant Biharis, an online survey has been arranged where people will be able to get information related to their land from any corner of India. Rapid improvement is being done in the condition of Bihar in many aspects like education, health, sports, entertainment, security. Since 2005, thanks to the policies of the Nitish government and the current Modi government, the economic and political situation of Bihar has improved rapidly and the state is moving towards sustainable development.
Minister Sanjay Saraogi, on Bihar Day, congratulated all the Bihari migrants living in Mumbai and the country and the world on the 113th anniversary of the establishment of Bihar with the resolution of "Unnat Bihar, Vikasit Bihar" and wished them well. He said that Bihar is constantly progressing under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Bihar will also play a leading role in PM Modi's resolution to make India a developed nation by 2047. Heartfelt gratitude to Maharashtra and Mumbai, which provided an opportunity and a strong platform to the migrant Bihari brothers and sisters to realize their dreams. While the land of Maharashtra gave them Karmabhoomi, Bihar gave them the identity of culture, hard work and passion. It is the result of your open heart and acceptance that the Bihari migrants are contributing to your progress with their talent and hard work.
MinisterSaraogi further said that now the situation of Bihar has completely changed. Before 2005, there were only 3 government engineering colleges and 13 polytechnic institutes in Bihar. Today, there are 38 government engineering colleges and 38 polytechnic institutes in Bihar. The target of having a government medical college in every district of Bihar is being fulfilled. Today, 21 government medical colleges are functioning smoothly in the state, and 23 government medical colleges are under construction. After Patna, a world-class hospital like AIIMS is being built in Darbhanga as well."
Along with this, rail and air connectivity in Bihar is reaching new heights. Gaya and Patna airports are being expanded, flights to new cities are being increased from Darbhanga airport every day. Flights will start from Purnia airport soon. On the lines of Shri Ram temple built in Ayodhya, it has been decided to build a huge Maa Janaki temple on 50 acres in Punaura Dham of Sitamarhi.
He requested the migrants from Bihar to give their invaluable contribution to the development, progress and growth of their birthplace Bihar along with serving their Karmabhoomi Maharashtra.
The minister further said that in the next 10 years, Bihar will progress so much that the people there will not have to go anywhere else for work.
