The launch was graced by Mr Gan Kim Yong, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry; Mr Jeffrey Siow, Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance; and Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Mr Manohar Khiatani, Chairman, CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) and Senior Executive Director, CLI; Mr Sanjeev Dasgupta, Chief Executive Officer, CLI India; senior government dignitaries; and CLI partners and staff also attended the event.</div><div> </div><div>CLI’s presence in Maharashtra commenced in 2013 with the launch of International Tech Park Pune, Hinjawadi (ITPP-H), developed in partnership with the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). Motivated by India’s historic steps against terrorism, the film gained attention when a special screening was held last week in the capital, Delhi. In the presence of several senior BJP leaders, the audience stood up to chant “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and applauded the film enthusiastically. The title track promises to awaken feelings of patriotism. The shooting took place in Punjab and Mumbai, with Yashpal Sharma portraying a very different role and look. The tagline “Hatheli pe jaan, sar pe kafan – Yeh Hai Mera Watan” reflects the film’s storyline.</div><div><br></div><div>The film contains a total of five songs, each in a different style, with all lyrics written by Mushtaq Pasha. Songs such as “Bulla Ki Jaana, Bande Na Dekh Palat Kar” and “Jhalli Main Jhalli” have been sung and musically arranged by R Guru. The song “Ruk Fidayeen” is sung by Shahid Mallya with music by Ehsaan Ahmed. The title song has been sung by Raja Hasan.</div><div><br></div><div>Having directed many Punjabi films, TV commercials, and numerous serials, Mushtaq Pasha also plays an important role in this film. Under the spiritual guidance of renowned astrologer Pandit Vijay Tripathi the rituals including Mantra chanting, Bhajans, Pooja, and Rudrabhishek were performed with great devotion and Vedic precision.</div><div>A major highlight of the event was the symbolic installation of 12 Jyotirlingas along with a beautifully crafted Shivling made of ghee, attracting scores of devotees who came for darshan and blessings. 51 Yajmans (ritual participants) actively took part with their families and well-wishers, making the spiritual ambiance deeply enriching.</div><div>The event witnessed participation from several distinguished guests and dignitaries, who performed the Abhishek of Lord Shiva with devotion and reverence.</div><div>To complement the divine atmosphere, attendees were served with delicious breakfast in the morning, Mahaprasad in the afternoon, and snacks in the evening ensuring a wholesome experience for all.</div><div><br></div><div>This grand spiritual event—held for the first time in Thane was widely appreciated across the community. The tournament has received an overwhelming response with 611 entries from 28 states across India.</div><div><br></div><div>BAMU, affiliated with the Maharashtra Badminton Association (MBA) and under the aegis of the Badminton Association of India (BAI), has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting this prestigious national-level tournament due to its growing reputation over just two years.</div><div><br></div><div>The tournament commenced on August 2, 2025, at 8:30 AM, and was inaugurated by MLA Shri Sanjay Upadhyay. The organizing committee, led by BAMU President Avinash Dharmadhikari, Secretary Sameer Patankar, Treasurer George Vergis, and Co-Secretary Ravi Doshi, has worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the tournament.
