Mumbai: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced Galaxy S26 FE, the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family and the first in the lineup to launch with One UI 9 — bringing the latest premium Galaxy experiences to more users from day one. With enhanced camera capabilities and more context-aware Galaxy AI, it elevates how users capture, create and connect every day. Built around what users value most in a thin and light design, Galaxy S26 FE carries the iconic Galaxy S experience forward.
"Galaxy S26 FE is purposefully designed to deliver the signature strengths of the Galaxy S series, ensuring that every feature makes a meaningful difference in users’ daily lives," said Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. "Packed with beloved Galaxy camera and AI experiences, backed by the latest One UI 9, Galaxy S26 FE comes to life as an ideal choice for those who know exactly what matters most to them."
The Galaxy S26 FE delivers an enhanced camera experience from capture to edit, featuring an upgraded triple rear camera setup and advanced image processing for both still and fast-action scenes. With the addition of My FanCam—previously introduced on Galaxy foldables—the camera automatically tracks and keeps a chosen subject centered, reframing videos for easy social media sharing. For video recording, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock ensures level, smooth footage during fast movement and travel. The device offers 3x optical zoom for clear long-distance shots, an enhanced 12 MP front camera for wider group selfies, and signature Nightography for detailed low-light photos. Post-capture editing is streamlined with Photo Assist, which allows users to alter lighting, add elements, or restore image parts using natural language prompts with step-by-step revision controls. Additionally, Gemini Omni enables users to generate and edit ready-to-share video clips directly from their photo gallery.
Powered by One UI 9, the Galaxy S26 FE delivers intuitive, context-aware Galaxy AI experiences designed to simplify daily routines and handle tasks seamlessly. An updated Now Brief offers personalized, customizable briefing cards—such as weather and wellness insights—that users can create using simple prompts. Additionally, Now Nudge expands its reach to select third-party apps and notifications, delivering timely suggestions that help users take quick action throughout the day. Completing the suite, Circle to Search with Google now supports multi-object search, allowing users to identify several products, places, or objects within a single image in just one step.
