A Pledge to Serve and Support the All-Round Development of Children, with the Salutation of the National Flag
Mumbai: Shri Ashok Singhal Rougn Seva Sadan celebrated the 80th Independence Day in a dignified manner, with a spirit of patriotism, service, and social concern, at the Sion Hanuman Tekri, Koliwada campus. A pledge was made to provide more assistance for the education, health, and all-round development of needy children, including those suffering from cancer.
Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah, Working President of the National Human Rights Commission, Sandeep Doshi Jain, President of the Shri Jain Raksha International Youth Group, Alpa Sanjay Shah, President of the Women's Department of the Minority Service Institute, and several other dignitaries were present at the event. The guests hoisted the national flag and paid homage to it. The entire atmosphere was filled with patriotic sentiments with the singing of the national anthem.
On this occasion, Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah and Alpa Sanjay Shah distributed tiffins and school bags to the school children.
Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah said, "Today is a day filled with pride and emotion for every Indian. Freedom is not just our right, but an invaluable legacy of the sacrifices and dedication of our ancestors. We must fulfill our duties with full devotion along with our rights." He further stated that building a clean India, an educated society, and a strong nation is not just the responsibility of the government alone, but the collective responsibility of every citizen. He stated that India's greatest strength is "unity in diversity," and that people of all religions, languages, and cultures should come together to strengthen the nation's unity and integrity.
He called upon all present to contribute to taking India to new heights by protecting the country's independence, Constitution, and democratic values.
On this occasion, Shambhu Pandey, Trustee of the Working Committee of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, honored Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah and Alpa Sanjay Shah for their outstanding contributions in the field of social service and public welfare.
Alpa Sanjay Shah said, "Our goal is to provide equal opportunities for education, culture, and development to children from every section of society. Our priority is to ensure children receive proper guidance and necessary facilities. Such initiatives will not only encourage children to study but will also play an important role in their overall development."
Representatives from various social and religious organizations, including committee members of Shri Ashok Singhal Roogn Seva Sadan, were present at the event. The program concluded with a pledge to promote national unity, integrity, and service to humanity.
