Mumbai: An impactful cyber awareness initiative titled “Kalyug Mein Cyber Yodha” by WHT NOW brought together prominent voices from law, governance, education, social impact and the arts to address the rising challenges of cybercrime in today’s digital world.
Sharing his insights, Yashaswi Yadav, ADGP Maharashtra Cyber emphasised that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility, urging citizens to remain vigilant and proactive alongside strengthened law enforcement efforts.
Neeti Goel, Founder of WHT NOW and a renowned philanthropist, stressed the importance of empowering youth through awareness as the first step toward prevention. Akshat Khetan, Co- Founder, WHT NOW & Founder, AU Corporate Advisory & Legal Services highlighted that cybercrime is now a daily reality and that awareness of legal rights and timely action is crucial for protection.
Neha Jagtiani, Principal RD National College noted that education must extend beyond classrooms to prepare students for real-world digital challenges. Adding a strong cultural perspective, Sandeep Soparkar, renowned Choreographer emphasised that dance and artistic expression have the power to simplify complex issues like cyber safety, making them more relatable and impactful for diverse audiences, especially the youth, while encouraging creative mediums to drive social awareness.
Bringing the session to a meaningful close, a soulful musical presentation inspired the audience to become ‘Cyber Yodhas’ champions of awareness, responsibility, and positivity through a unique blend of music and devotion. The event successfully combined knowledge, dialogue and cultural expression, leaving attendees with a strong message on the importance of digital safety and collective responsibility.
