Mumbai: Rumera and Hamza's wedding celebrations began with a grand Bismillah Ceremony at Mumbai's Taj Land's End Hotel.

The event featured a Sufi night with Chadar ceremony, Sufi Mehfil, and a birthday celebration for the groom, Mohammad Hamza Warsi.

The ceremony was held on a Kashmiri theme, with traditional Kashmiri food, Kahwa, and folk songs. Danish Dawar performed a live Naat, while Waqar Khan and his band enthralled the guests with Sufi performances. Adnan Manzoor played the Sarangi, and the atmosphere was filled with Sufi vibes.

Guests included MP Varsha Gaikwad, MLA Aslam Sheikh, Haji Arafat Sheikh, Abu Asim Azmi, Hindustani Bhau, actor Ali Khan, and Nasir Khan. Rumera's mother, Rubina Akhtar Hasan Rizvi, revealed that she had always wanted to do something unique for her daughter's wedding.

The bride, Rumera, looked stunning and thanked her mother for supporting her throughout her life. Hamza said it was the best day of his life, and he was grateful for the birthday celebration.

The wedding is a green wedding, with a focus on sustainability. The invitation cards, gifts, and decorations were all eco-friendly, and most vendors were women. The Chadar ceremony was performed with a Chadar from Lucknow and Rampur.

The wedding functions will continue with a Qawwali night, Haldi Carnival, Mehndi, and Mushaira. The Nikah ceremony will take place on December 12 in Medina.
