Mumbai: Light of Life Trust (LOLT), a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming rural lives through education, healthcare, and livelihood, celebrated its 20-year journey with a Grand Musical Concert at the prestigious Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai. The event witnessed the participation of over 1,000 guests, including dignitaries, supporters, and well-wishers from across the country.
The highlight of the evening was an unforgettable musical experience featuring, PadmaShri Playback Singer Suresh Wadkar, Sanjeevani Bhelande (renowned playback singer), Muktar Shah (singer) and 23 Saz Ensemble, led by Chirag Panchal – a vibrant symphony of rhythm and harmony.
Together, they delivered an enthralling blend of melody and meaning, reinforcing the cultural richness and heartfelt purpose of the event.
The evening was graced by Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Skill Development, Employment, Education, and Innovation, Government of Maharashtra, as the Guest of Honour. In his inspiring address, Shri Lodha commended the tireless efforts of LOLT and assured continued support from the Government of Maharashtra for such impactful initiatives.
The event also saw the presence of several distinguished guests, including, Harshita Narwekar, Manju Lodha, Amla Ruia, Malti Jain, Abha Singh.
Gracious wishes were received from Milind Deora, Makrand Narwekar, whose support was warmly acknowledged by the Trust.
Founded in 2005 by Mrs. Villy Doctor with just 25 rural children, LOLT has grown into a nationwide movement impacting over 25,000 children and their families, and touching the lives of more than 626,312 individuals across India.
