Mumbai : Renowned social activist and dynamic women leader Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad was honored with the prestigious ‘Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Bharat Puraskar’ at a grand ceremony held at Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium in Mumbai. The award recognizes her exceptional contribution to social service, especially during critical times like the COVID-19 pandemic and the devastating floods in Maharashtra.
A key figure in the Republican Party of India (Athawale Faction), Sanghamitra Tai serves as the Maharashtra State Secretary and is known for her tireless efforts to uplift marginalized communities.
