Mumbai : Ganesh Chaturthi, a festival that symbolizes joy, unity, and the celebration of new beginnings, has always brought together people from all walks of life. This year, Youva Stationery embraced the festive spirit by celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with underprivileged children at the St. Catherine of Siena School and Orphanage in Mumbai on September 4th.
The event celebrated the essence of the festival by encouraging children to express their creativity through art and craft.
As part of Youva’s annual “My Bappa Festival,” now in its fourth year, the brand organized an engaging Art and Craft workshop that resonated with the true spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi. The children eagerly participated, learning to create beautiful artworks related to Lord Ganesha under the guidance of a skilled mentor. The joy of creating something with their own hands was evident on the children’s faces, as they immersed themselves in the creative process.
Understanding that every child should be included in the festivities, Youva extended its gesture of love and support by providing curated stationery kits to all 250 students of the school to foster creativity in each child.
Ganesh Chaturthi is more than just a festival; it’s a time to reflect on our shared values of community, creativity, and compassion. Youva Stationery’s initiative was a celebration of these values, fostering a sense of belonging and joy among the children. By engaging them in artistic expressions, Youva honored the spirit of Ganesha and brought smiles to the faces of those who might otherwise have been left out of the celebrations.
Abhijit Sanyal, Chief Strategy Officer at Youva Stationery, said, "Ganesh Chaturthi is a time when communities come together to celebrate and create something meaningful. At Youva, we believe that creativity has the power to bring joy. By engaging these children in art and craft, we wanted to inspire them to express themselves and be part of the festive spirit. It was a day filled with happiness, and we are grateful to have been able to share this experience with them."
In addition to the event in Mumbai, Youva also conducted My Bappa art workshops across Maharashtra for around 50 Schools, with a total of around 12000 students participating.
Through these initiatives, Youva Stationery continues to play an active role in the community, fostering creativity and bringing people together to celebrate the joy and unity that Ganesh Chaturthi represents.
