Yawatmal, Maharashtra: Jio launched its True 5G services at the Amolakchand Mahavidyalay, Yawatmal signalling a significant stride in transforming education in the region. With this launch, Jio’s 5G unlimited services can be enjoyed by faculty and around 5000 students at the college.
Addressing the college faculty and students, Giridhar Puvalla, State Care Head, Maharashtra and Goa, Jio, elaborated on the numerous benefits and possibilities of 5G with emphasis on the scope to revolutionise internet usage, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

The launch was very well received by the students, faculty members and the institute. As part of this event, YOUTH PASS Program was launched where students can enjoy various benefits offered by Jio. Students also experienced virtual reality gadgets; photo booths were set up for their insta moments. A question & answer session elaborating on career prospects with advent of latest technology, Industry usage and consumer experience were discussed. Dr. Rammanohar Mishra, Principal, Amolakchand College, Heads of various departments and Jio Maharashtra officials were present at the event.
