The multilingual film English Shiva starring Kannada films actor Pramod and actress Thejaswini Sharma is going to release on 21 April 2023 in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi. The trailer of the film was launched at Red Bulb Studio in Mumbai where Pramod and Thejaswini Sharma along with director Arya M Mahesh and producer David R were present. Kannada film 'English Manja' made under the banner of Infant Cine Creations has been renamed as 'English Shiva'. Like other South films, the trailer of the film has a great mix of action, style, music, in which Pramod is dominant.
Pramod told that English Shiva is a commercial film. It took us around 75 days to shoot this film in different parts of Karnataka. This film and this character is very different from all the films I have done till now. I am very happy and excited that this is my first film to release in seven languages including Hindi and in that sense it is a big film for me. English Shiva is very special to me as this is my first big project in the title role. It has many dangerous stunt scenes, songs as well, great script and I hope it gives me a mass hero image. My rowdy style in this will definitely be liked by the audience. The message given through this film is that love is very important in life which is above money.
This action film English Shiva directed by Arya M Mahesh has a beautiful love story of Pramod opposite Thejaswini Sharma.
The film's producer David R said that English Shiva has a brilliant script and a story full of love, friendship, action and drama. The trailer of this film is getting good response from the audience. This is Pramod's sixth film. He has many films other than English Shiva. But the most awaited film of his career is Salaar in which Pramod plays an important role along with actor Prabhas.
Thejaswini Sharma told on the occasion of the trailer launch that her character's name in the film is Kamli, who is a very bubbly girl, brave and innocent. But she has a past that's how she meets Shiva. Rowdy Shiva's life changes with the arrival of Kamli. Right now I am very excited that my film English Shiva is releasing in 7 languages simultaneously. This is my first pan India release though I have done many south films.
Thejaswini Sharma, who likes Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt in Bollywood, although she is an engineer, but her passion for acting and modeling brought her to the film world.
The special thing about this film is that Sachin Gole, who dubbed the strong voice of Yash in KGF and Rishabh Shetty in Kantara in Hindi, has dubbed Pramod in English Shiva.
