Mumbai : Mr. Atul Bhatkhalkar, MLA - Kandivali East Constituency, conceptualised the‘Satyameva Jayate Garden Wall’ developed by Growel’s 101 Mall. The awe-inspiring vertical garden wall is situated on the Western Express Highway (WEH), Kandivali East. The ‘Satyameva Jayate Garden Wall’ measuring 25ft(H)X130ft(W), was a dead wall built by the MMRDA to keep away mud coming on the highway from the sports grounds on the other side of this wall.
Sharing his vision about the garden wall, Atul Bhatkhalkar, MLA - Kandivali East Constituency, said, “It is heart-warming to see this beautiful garden wall with the ‘Satyameva Jayate’ message on the busy highway. It reiterates the solidarity of India to each onlooker. I am delighted that my vision and concept of transforming a dead wall is brought to light by Growel’s 101 Mall. This is a great example of how corporates can make a significant difference to the aesthetics of the city.
Mr. Vinod Haritwal - CEO & Director, Grauer & Weil (India) Limited said, “We are thankful to Shri Atul Bhatkhalkar to give us this wonderful opportunity to bring his vision and concept to life of transforming a dead wall into an admirable vertical garden. We hope this project will inspire many more corporates to come forward and take up initiatives to make our city, Mumbai more beautiful.
Growel’s 101 Mall is committed to playing an active role towards the betterment of the society and surroundings they operate in. Over the years, Growel’s 101 Mall has taken many social initiatives like donating anti-pollution masks to Mumbai Traffic Police, engaging customers to support Solar Lamp donation to the tribal residents of the SGNP, and also beautification of the flyover wall overlooking the mall entrance gates.
