According to a report, the studio is tying up with UK based venture capitalist and will put an initial investment of $30 million to create all forms of intellectual properties including feature films, web series and kids specific content. 

Bharat Nautiyal, known for his fearless journalism, credible reportage & commentary on social, economic, political, and current affairs started this venture which will produce scripted and non-scripted content across multiple genres including digital and films and kids centric OTT platform.

His other business ventures include several real estate and infrastructure projects in Uttarakhand and Maharashtra.

Sarrva Productions studio will create content across fiction, non-fiction, digital programming as well as films. Commenting on his OTT Venture, Nautiyal said, “The trend of children watching digital videos has opened up a new avenue for OTT platforms in the country. The market for digital videos is not confined to adults. There has been a year-on-year increase in the market for production of digital videos meant for children. We wish to launch Kids exclusive OTT platform very soon. Creating innovative and engaging content has been a passion for me and I am always on a lookout for challenging opportunities and I am excited to be helming this move. We are in a advances stages of closing a deal with a UK based capital firm who shall work with us at 50-50 joint venture as part of a broader plan to partake of growth in the over-the-top (OTT) market, currently booming in India and in a bid to expand the Sarrva Productions studio in India and United Kingdom.
