She is a manager in a bank, married to a banker, “Ours was an arranged marriage. My hubby Sujan Biswas is the greatest pillar of strength and I owe my success to him… Behind every successful woman is a man! ”Revealing about the selection process, she mentioned, “There were women contestants representing every state of India who went through auditions, online interviews and then 3 days grooming session in Udaipur. ”For the Mrs & Ms India Universal Pageant, there was bridal wear round, followed by fitness round, cocktail shoot round, talent round and then finally the interview round ending in the Grand Finale. “Whereas the Miss Universal title is for Girls, the Mrs Universal title is for the recognition of the versatility and plenty other things in a woman. This title is basically to celebrate the woman who comes out successful in balancing her life along with the responsibilities of her family and the society,” Nandita added. Nandita keeps her fit and fine, by jogging in the morning for about 2 kms everyday, doing gym along with yoga and meditation, maintaining a healthy diet and says that her biggest mantra is to go to bed early and wake up early. She has learner hindusthani vocal classical and dance since her childhood. She loves to travel and is also a travel blogger. Her blog 'Venturernandu' has got her travel stories beautifully described along with best Itineraries. ”How would the contestants be judged in the international pageant in Mexico? “I have come to know a bit about scoring there. They have 25% weightage to fitness, 25% towards how you carry yourself in the evening gowns and the rest 50% is towards how you do in the interviews and how you present yourself which is all about your attitude.
”According to Nandita, an ideal woman is the one who is involved in community service, loves everybody, has a caring nature and is helpful to others apart from being a lovable wife, daughter-in-law and a caring mother,” Nandita exclaims “Marriage is not the end of your dreams. One should live and pursue your dreams, work hard to achieve your goals. You have the power and love of your entire family, do not give up,” signs off Nandita on an optimistic note to the women of the world.
