A pledge was made to provide more assistance for the education, health, and all-round development of needy children, including those suffering from cancer.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah, Working President of the National Human Rights Commission, Sandeep Doshi Jain, President of the Shri Jain Raksha International Youth Group, Alpa Sanjay Shah, President of the Women's Department of the Minority Service Institute,</b> and several other dignitaries were present at the event. The guests hoisted the national flag and paid homage to it. The entire atmosphere was filled with patriotic sentiments with the singing of the national anthem.</div><div><br></div><div>On this occasion, Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah and Alpa Sanjay Shah distributed tiffins and school bags to the school children.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah</b> said, "Today is a day filled with pride and emotion for every Indian. The child’s father, Sonu Kumar Jha, a devoted follower of Lord Mahadev and a firm believer in Sanatan values, considers the entire experience as a special grace of God.</div><div>According to Sonu Kumar Jha, as soon as his wife Ekta Jha completed nine months of pregnancy, an atmosphere of excitement and positive energy enveloped the family. Coincidentally, Gupt Navratri was underway, and the daughter was born on the third day of Navratri. This rare alignment proved to be an intensely emotional and spiritual experience for the family. Upon receiving the news of his daughter’s birth, Sonu Kumar Jha became emotional at the hospital itself and described the moment as the arrival of divine feminine energy on earth.</div><div>He believes that the timing of his daughter’s birth was not ordinary, but a sacred and divinely chosen moment, which he sees as the incarnation of a blessed soul. For this reason, he regards his daughter as a form of Goddess Lakshmi. Since her birth, he has experienced several positive changes in his life, with long-stalled paths opening up, along with increased respect, new opportunities, and a sense of overall positivity.</div><div>All rituals and ceremonies related to the birth were performed at auspicious times. </div><div>Sonu Kumar Jha shared that there was no need to consult an external priest, as his father Shri Ramchandra Jha, a scholar well-versed in religious scriptures, personally determined all the auspicious timings in accordance with tradition and faith.</div><div>To celebrate the birth of his daughter, Sonu Kumar Jha hosted a grand celebration at GCC Club & Hotel, Mira Road, Thane, Maharashtra. The event was attended by several prominent personalities who extended their congratulations, including film producer Sohail Maklai (producer of Kangana Ranaut-starrer Dhaakad), film director Aman Arora, actor Ksshitij Singh, actress Sangeeta Tiwari, and corporator Vivek Upadhyay. Cultural performers and professional dancers added to the vibrancy of the celebration. Leveraging one of India’s most visible public platforms, Arpan created awareness, amplified conversations among runners, supporters, and citizens about Child Sexual Abuse and reinforced public accountability for the implementation of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.</div><div>#POCSOPakadLega was the central theme of Arpan’s flagship public awareness campaign, Child Safety Week (CSW)—observed annually from 14th to 20th November with acclaimed actress Vidya Balan (Arpan’s Goodwill Ambassador) as the face of the campaign, that reached 165+ million people nationwide. The theme focussed on targeting offenders and sent an uncompromising warning: “Kisi bhi bacche ko galat tareeke se chhua toh #POCSOPakadLega. It served both as a warning and a deterrent, making the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) visible and accountability real. </div><div>At the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026, Arpan activated the message once again through a strong on-ground presence at the Dream Run, where Arpan’s team moved together as one unified voice, carrying the message of #POCSOPakadLega through placards and powerful slogans that symbolised collective responsibility and the power of community action. They called upon adult stakeholders reminding them that when adults take action, laws like POCSO come alive and ensure that offenders are held accountable. </div><div>The other leg of Arpan’s on-ground engagement at TMM was the Motivational Zone stage, anchored by a motorised handcuff innovation that visually reinforced the core message of #POCSOPakadLega, stating that offenders will be caught and held accountable under the law. Designed to arrest attention and provoke reflection, the installation drew runners, supporters, and spectators to pause and engage with the message. Alongside this, Arpan hosted a public pledge signboard that invited participants to commit to child safety and play their part in preventing child sexual abuse. </div><div>This was complemented by a photo-op with Vidya Balan’s lifesize cut-out alongside the campaign message, encouraging participants to engage with the installation, and amplify the message through their own social media platforms. The ambience was electrifying as the unstoppable spirit of Mumbai saw thousands of runners notice the #POCSOPakadLega campaign, and hundreds of them engaging with us.
