Mumbai: The Western India Film & TV Producers Association, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Millennium, organized the 11th Free Mega Eye Camp, including free eye check-ups, free spectacles, and free cataract surgeries, on Sunday, 31 May 2026, at Maheshwari Hall, Andheri West, Mumbai. This camp has been organized continuously for the past 10 years. So far, free cataract surgeries have been performed for over 200 needy individuals. People from the film industry—Artistes and Technicians—as well as local general public took the benefit of  this camp. This year too, around 500 people took the opportunity to check their eyes. The camp was successfully conducted under the chairmanship of the Association’s President, Sangram Shirke, along with Project Chairman Pawan Khetan, WIFPA Gen. Secretary Dinesh Ashiwal, Program Head Dharmendra Mehra, and with the initiative of Lions Club of Millennium President Dilip Sanganneria, Secretary Anand Agarwal, and Treasurer Prakash Jhunjhunwala. The noble initiative was graced by the presence of IMPPA & FFI President Abhay Sinha, IMPPA Vice President Sushma Shiromani, Film Makers Combine General Secretary Nishant Ujjwal, Film Directors Association President Ashoke Pandit, FWICE President B.N. Tiwari, Art Directors Association General Secretary Rangarao Choughule, as well as renowned Artistes Mukesh Rishi, Hemant Birje, Actress Sahila Chadha, and Tani Deol.  

Special efforts for organizing the camp were made by Anjana Sharma, Chandni Gupta, Dr. Pralhad Khandare, Priya Rathod, Dr. Yuvamitra Dwivedi, Arvind Kumar Vaghela, Chanda Patel, and the entire staff of the Western India Film & TV Producers Association.
