Mumbai: Renowned actress Deepika Chikhlia today performed the muhurat of the Bhojpuri web series 'Mahashamshan'. Present on the occasion were producer-writer Dheeraj Mishra and co-producer Ishika Mishra, director Raja Randeep Giri, and actors Kunal Singh Rajput, Golu Tiwari, Prashant Rai, Pari, Gaurav Upadhyay, Zeeshan Khan, line producer Mahesh Upadhyay, and publicist Sanjay Bhushan Patiala.
Deepika Chikhlia wished the entire team well and said that the title of Mahashamshan itself raises hopes that the series will be a good one. She praised the stage, saying it is doing excellent work in the regional language.
Producer Dheeraj Mishra said, "We are grateful to Deepika Chikhlia for performing the muhurat of our web series. This is a significant occasion for us, and we hope the audience will enjoy it."
Producer Ishika Mishra said, "We have worked very hard on this series and are confident that it will captivate audiences."
Director Raja Randeep Giri said, "It's a unique story that will make audiences think. We will start shooting in late May and will release it soon."
"Mahashamshan" is a Bhojpuri web series that explores various aspects of life. It stars Kunal Singh Rajput, Golu Tiwari, Prashant Rai, Pari Singh, Gaurav Upadhyay, Shivam Singh, Vivek Tripathi, and Zeeshan Khan.
Amar Dubey and Dharmendra Singh were present on behalf of the Stage OTT team.
