Mumbai: The novel 'This is on Record' was released in the Mini Hall of SNDT Women's University, Juhu campus, Santacruz West Mumbai, in the presence of renowned advocate Adv. Abha Singh, International Working President of the International Human Rights Ambassadors Organization Sanjay Jeevanlal Shah, National Working President of the Women's Wing Alpaben Sanjay Shah, and senior corporator Sudha Singh, among other dignitaries. The book was written by Dr. Reshu Singh (Sumadra), Assistant Professor of English. In this novel, Rupali becomes a victim of exploitation in the organization where she works. Instead of receiving support from senior officials, she receives mental torture. But Rupali does not give up and fights for justice. This story depicts the struggle and pain she faces from society, the organization, and the internal environment on her journey to justice. This is the summary of the book. This book conveys the message that women should use their rights effectively in the workplace and raise their voice against the harassment they face. On this occasion, renowned tabla player Anuradha Pal, renowned author Dr. Kalpana Dave and Dr. Jitendra Tiwari, Director of Bharatiya Gyan Kendra, SNDT Women's University, Juhu Campus, expressed their views on the power, religious duties and dignity of women as special guests. Renowned lawyer Abha Singh presided over the book launch. While presiding, Abha Singh said that every woman has the right to live with equality and dignity. On this occasion, Dr. Meruprabha Mishra, Assistant Professor (Department of History), Shri M.D. Shah Women's College, Malad, was honored with the National Glory of India Award by the Sevapreet Foundation. Present at the book release were dignitaries from various fields, including Nexus Capital co-founder Ram Singh, Dr. Sangeeta Radhakrishnan, Mumbai State Secretary Ashok Rai, senior journalists Raghavendranath Dwivedi, Rajesh Upadhyay, Santosh Sahu, Arun Kumar Gupta, Dr. Geeta Dubey, former Hindi Assistant Professor at the Central Sanskrit University, Nashik Campus, storyteller Jitendra Dave, national poet Dr. Rajni Kant Mishra, renowned singers Nivedita Mishra, Sulekha Vajpayee, Dr. Alka Agarwal Sigatia, Dr. Neelima Nagesh of NABARD, and Dr. Nagesh Mishra, Assistant Professor of English. Vedic mantras were recited by Astrologer Acharya Keshav Sharma. Saraswati Vandana was performed by Sanskrit student Bhagyashree. A two-minute silence was observed for the departed soul of India's renowned singer Asha Bhosle, and the meeting concluded with the National Anthem. The welcome address was delivered by Abhay Kumar of NABARD, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Reshu Singh (Sumadra), while Prince Grover conducted the stage.
