Mumbai : The Badminton Association for Mumbai Suburban (BAMU) is organizing the "Yonex Sunrise All India Sub Junior National Badminton Tournament 2025" at Goregaon Sports Club in Mumbai from August 2nd to August 7th, 2025. The tournament has received an overwhelming response with 611 entries from 28 states across India.
BAMU, affiliated with the Maharashtra Badminton Association (MBA) and under the aegis of the Badminton Association of India (BAI), has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting this prestigious national-level tournament due to its growing reputation over just two years.
The tournament commenced on August 2, 2025, at 8:30 AM, and was inaugurated by MLA Shri Sanjay Upadhyay. The organizing committee, led by BAMU President Avinash Dharmadhikari, Secretary Sameer Patankar, Treasurer George Vergis, and Co-Secretary Ravi Doshi, has worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the tournament. The Joint Secretary & Chairperson indoor sports of Goregaon Sports Club Mrs Rakhi Sonigra actively participated in organisiing then tournament.

The tournament was sponsored by Saraswat bank Ltd, Piramal Corporate Services, Krida Bharati and Vayuputra Builders and Infrastructures.
