    Under the World Road Safety Week, a grand walkathon was organized by Jogeshwari Center of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya on the occasion of "Road Safety Life Safety". In which many eminent persons participated and encouraged people to follow the road traffic rules. The specially equipped panoramic view of the rally remained the center of attraction for the people. Through which a meaningful effort was made to create public awareness among the people through an effective message. 


  In this unique walkathon, Bharat Mata standing on the chariot carrying the tricolor flag and Yamraj walking on the road warning the bike riders without helmets remained the center of attraction of the people. The walkathon started from Sadbhakti Mandir on Society Road, Jogeshwari and ended at Prabodhan Gym, Meghwadi. Around 250 brothers and sisters participated in this walkathon. In which local politicians, police department, teachers etc. many senior dignitaries of the area participated enthusiastically.


    Brahmakumari Meena, head of Jogeshwari Center and Transport Wing, said that the main objective of this walkathon is to create awareness about traffic rules among all citizens and due to its continuous organization, there has been a decrease in accidents in this area for the last few years.


     Prominent in this walkathon are local ex-BJP corporator Pankaj Yadav, Shiv Sena sub-division chief Jaywant Lad, police inspectors Anker and Thakkar of Meghwadi police station, Janardan Bhai of Laughing Club, Avinash Bhai, Sanjay Bhai of Yoga Group, branch head Nitesh Mhatre, Mission President of Mission Patrakarita (NGO) Shailesh Jaiswal, Advocate Vinod Kakaria, Sanjay Chinderkar, Amir Ahamed Ansari etc. were present. While the head of Brahmakumaris Jogeshwari Center, BK Meena Behen, BK Sneha Behen, BK Ajit Kumar, BK Santosh Nikam, BK Kanojia etc. all the workers worked hard to make this program successful.
