 Vivek VaswaniActor, Writer & Producer and Mr. Rajesh Sharma, Festival Director, Dehradun International Film Festival announced the fourth edition of Dehradun International Film Festival at a press conference in Mumbai. The festival is scheduled to be held from 21st to 23rd September 2018 in Dehradun at Silver City, Rajpur Road. The festival will showcase a wide array of regional films, short films, documentaries and national & international award-winning films like The Saviour, Noorie: The Light, Pankhuri, Kismat, Raja Bajrangi, to name a few.
The fourth edition will not only witness the renowned people from the International and National film industry like Ramesh Sippy, Sharman Joshi, Vivek Vaswani, Hemant Pandey, etc but will also showcase distinguished writers, literates, literary and contemporary guests from the domain of art, culture and other social segments.
In the words of Mr. Vivek Vaswani, Actor, Writer & Producer, “Dehradun International Film Festival has made filmmakers out of college students and almost everyone who has an eye for films and owns a camera or phone. I am delighted to be associated with DIFF and am hopeful of interacting, teaching and counseling the youth, students and those who are hungry to know more about cinema. As we grow together, I am expecting Dehradun International Film Festival to grow into a major hub for world cinema, just like Cannes and Toronto. I am really grateful that people like Rajesh Sharma love cinema enough to bring it to Dehradun and its wonderful people".

This festival provides the youth, and young minds avenues for their talents and the future of Uttarakhand to showcase their talent and enter the cinematic beauty of our industry.”
 He also said the festival’s thought values include artistic excellence in creativity, hospitality and fiscal responsibilities.
Mr. Ruchin Kohli, Organizer of DIFF added, “DIFF has now become a platform not just for filmmakers and talent from Uttarakhand but the rest of the country also look forward to being a part of it in great numbers.”
The mission behind Dehradun International Film Festival is to offer a platform to the local talent to showcase their works and to screen the movies which are rich in content and deliver a strong message. The festival is aimed at bringing the aspiring talent of Uttarakhand and the renowned names of the film industry on one common platform, thus facilitating a dialogue between them and eventually opening a door of opportunities for the film industry and for the aspiring talent.
